Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026
This policy explains how meet.biz uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage). For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites you visit. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a site save small amounts of data on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and support advertising.
2. What we store ourselves
meet.biz itself sets no tracking cookies. We use browser local storage for two small, functional values that never leave your device:
- meetbiz-consent — remembers whether you accepted or declined advertising cookies, so we don't ask you on every visit.
- meetbiz-prefs — remembers your display preference (12-hour or 24-hour time format).
3. Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)
If you accept advertising cookies, we load Google AdSense to display ads that keep this tool free. Google and its certified ad partners may then set cookies on your device to:
- serve and measure advertisements;
- personalise ads based on your visits to this and other websites;
- prevent fraud and abuse.
These are third-party cookies controlled by Google, not by us. You can learn more about the types of cookies Google uses at Google's cookie policy and how Google uses data on partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Managing your choices
- Our consent banner: the first time you visit, you can accept or decline advertising cookies. If you decline, the Google AdSense script is not loaded at all.
- Change your mind any time: click "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page to reopen the consent banner.
- Google settings: manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com or opt out of many ad networks at aboutads.info/choices (or youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).
- Browser controls: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and site data. Clearing site data for meet.biz removes our stored preferences, and the consent banner will appear again on your next visit.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision.
