About meet.biz
meet.biz is a free timezone meeting planner built for anyone who works, studies or keeps in touch across time zones — distributed teams, freelancers with international clients, families spread around the world, and event organisers coordinating global attendees.
Why we built it
Scheduling a call between, say, Sydney, London and San Francisco means mentally juggling three clocks — and daylight saving shifts mean the "usual" offset changes several times a year. meet.biz removes the guesswork: pick your cities, pick a time, and instantly see the corresponding local time in every city, colour-coded so you can spot slots that fall inside everyone's working day.
How it works
- Accurate conversions: all calculations use the IANA time zone database built into your browser, so daylight saving rules are applied automatically for the exact date you choose.
- Colour-coded hours: green for business hours (9am–5pm), yellow for early morning and evening, pink for night — so a fair meeting time for everyone jumps out at a glance.
- Shareable links: your selection of cities, date and time is encoded in the page address, so one copied link shows colleagues exactly the comparison you see.
- Privacy-friendly: everything runs in your browser. No account, no sign-up, and your selections are never sent to our servers.
Tips for scheduling across time zones
- Rotate the pain. If no slot suits everyone, alternate which region takes the early or late call from meeting to meeting.
- Watch the date line. A Monday-morning call in Auckland is still Sunday in Los Angeles — the date shown under each time helps you catch this.
- Mind daylight saving windows. In March/April and September/October, offsets between the northern and southern hemispheres shift by up to two hours within a few weeks. Re-check standing meetings around those dates.
- Confirm in the invitee's local time. When you send an invitation, state the time in each attendee's own city to avoid ambiguity — or just share a meet.biz link.
Supported cities
The planner covers 140+ major cities across every continent, including separate entries for cities that share a zone (such as Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore on India Standard Time). Missing your city? Let us know and we'll add it.
